Deku and bakugo gay

College is hell. And not just because of finals.

Bakugo didn’t ask to be the Slayer, but here he is—juggling demons, midterms, and a vampire lover who's learning what it means to be in love.

His friends? A witch, a former demon, and one (1) exhausted mortal trying his best.

Together, they fight evil, battle supernatural threats, coquet in haunted dorm rooms, and endeavor not to expire before finals.

Welcome to Dead Week.

No one’s sleeping, someone’s definitely bleeding, and that cult on the quad? Yeah—they’re probably summoning something.

** So basicallyyyy, this is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer-inspired story set on a modern college campus, where fate has chosen Katsuki Bakugo to be the next Slayer—protector of the human society, destroyer of demons, and extremely lousy at expressing his feelings.

Expect some aggression, magic, queer intimacy, ancient secrets, supernatural themes and an increasing number of things that leave bump in the night.

*** ALSO please mind the tags regarding the smutty stuff: I've got some freaky deaky vampire related smut ideas, and I'm not ashamed. But just want you to be warned lol

just in time for pride month: here it is, the rant on BD canon status I promised!

in the BNHA fandom, as in any big fandom, there’s a lot of discussion going on surrounding the subject of whether slash ships will end up canon. this conversation is as old as the hills, happens in every fandom, it can be lots of pleasurable, and I’m not trying to conclude it!

but as your local fandom elder who over the course of the last 20 years has consumed more shonen manga/anime than you can call, I still wanna add my two cents to the discussion of BakuDeku canon likeliness, maybe dampen some expectations, but ultimately also bring you some good news.

I don’t think BakuDeku will become canon. but I also don’t think it should matter to you whether it does.

just the other afternoon, I saw someone say that Deku and Bakugo creature narrative foils might point to them becoming canon endgame. and to whoever said that, praise your soul. I wish I had your optimism. because you are right: if this was about which affair is the most pivotal to both characters and the entire plot, BakuDeku would without question be the one to end up canon. but here’s what you require to understand: generally,

Homophobia (in the fandom) and Bakugo’s role (part II)

Okay, so let’s continue with the next:

Bakugo himself doesn’t understand Deku’s feelings towards him, which has always make him angry. He expects the normal, what everyone would: hating him, rejecting him, instead of following him (the main reason why he continued with his behavior was bc he wanted to keep Deku far away, while the other didn’t listen nor took into consideration his own good being, always taking without responding or doing anything; this response was interpreted as an insult, enjoy the kid that wouldn’t use his quirk when Bakugo and Todoroki were retaking their exam). Im pretty sure canon Bakugo would actually agree with many antis in this aspect: “why doesn’t he hate me?? He should do it, it’s what makes sense”.

He thought Deku always hated him all along bc having positive feelings towards him doesn’t enter the binary narrative of their world. Deku hating Bakugō was what he thought is accurate bc it’s what would make sense from this perspective, the same one antis have

It doesn’t obey the bad->punish and good->reward (which Bakugō has been believing since he was a kid; b

My Hero Academia: The Controversy Surrounding Deku's Love Life, Explained

The closure of the My Hero Academia manga series brought with it many intriguing details for audiences. Not only did the epilogue allow fans to see their favorite characters as accomplished pro heroes, but it also explained a few details about their adult lives. Although brief, the time readers spent with the future versions of the protagonists helped paint a picture of what awaits them next.

Among these revelations, the blossoming relationship between Ochako and Izuku stood out as one of the most important. Many fans had been waiting for the couple to confess since early in the series, making this moment one of the most iconic from the epilogue. Yet, other members of the fandom are not at all pleased with the finale for denying them the chance to see another of the best ships in the series become a reality.
