One Direction Star Finds It Hard To Deal With Gay Rumors

Pictured: Louis Tomlinson pictured with alleged lover and fellow band member Harry Styles. Girlfriend, Eleanor Calder.

One Route star Louis Tomlinson has hit out at fans on Twitter who proceed to suggest that he's in a reationship with bandmate, Harry Styles.

Earlier this year, Louis laughed off the gay rumours, telling radio station KXXAS that their US fans "genuinely, seriously think that we’re in a association. It’s so funny!" He also revealed that some devotees were so convinced that they were an item, that they had nicknamed the lads Larry Stylinson. Then in July, Tomlinson slammed the allegations, stating that they were affecting the way himself and Styles behaved with each other, adding he only had eyes for girlfriend, Eleanor Calder.

He told Storyboard: "This is a subject that was funny at first but now is actually firm to deal with, as I am in a relationship. "Me and Harry are best friends. People look into our every move - it is actually affecting the

    WHAT’S THE G.A.Y. GIG?

Back in the days of yore, One Direction performed at a gay club and I’m beautiful sure it was the best period of their lives. Well, it was the best hour of Louis’ being at least.

Niall smashed cake in Louis’ face and Harry looked like he was over the moon about it.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Louis more happy than when he was covered in sticky white stuff, singing in front of a room of gay men.

He’s enjoying himself so much and being a petite flirt about it, I mean come on who licks their fingers like that in public

I dare you to show me something better than this picture. You can’t.

I’m sorry I don’t really contain any photos of the other boys during this recital, but Louis considerate of stole the show. So. THAT is the famous G.A.Y gig.

Lance Bass on One Direction: ‘My Assume Is One of Them Is Gay’

Lance Bass is generally an uncontroversial person (aside from that whole space field trip he wanted to take), but he's found himself embroiled in a bit of controversy after he offered his opinion of One Direction's sexuality.

The former 'N Sync member was on 'The Rubin Report,' to discuss the big news of NBA player, Jason Collins coming out this week. The conversation quickly turned about Lance Bass coming out himself in 2006 and the probability of one of the members of One Direction organism gay himself. Bass said,

"Well, statistically speaking, one probably is. It’s crazy with a market fancy that because 100 percent is juvenile women. And they fantasize about these guys, and then you have the register label and everyone grooming you to make sure that you don’t even mention you possess a girlfriend. So screw the fact that you’re gonna appear out as organism gay. It ruins their whole business plan."

The man has a very valid point, whether Directioners like it or not, that even if one of the 1D guys is gay, he may feel compelled to hide it eve

What if, in 2012, one of the One Direction boys decided to tell the world he was gay? Would his umpteen million devoted female fans grab the news OK? That is the question I asked Lance Bass during an interview on my SiriusXM show, The Six Pack.

"I actually think they would," Bass said, without hesitating. "The younger generation is way smarter than we were. They're way more perceptive, and they just don't care. ... Help then there was no way in hell I would appear out."

These are bold words coming from Bass, practically the founding father of the yes-I'm-gay pop-star narrative. Bass is a veteran of the boy-band machine, which has experienced a major resurgence since the rise of the UK's One Direction and The Wanted. In 2006, four years after *NSYNC announced its plans to go on hiatus, he finally came out publicly, appearing on the cover of People Magazine with the headline "I'M GAY."

Have minds and perceptions really changed as quickly as Bass believes? If 1D's Harry or Zayn or Louis or Niall or Liam (did I forget any?) were actually to come out, would they be welcomed with open arms, both by their fans and the industry they've revitalized?

    Let me be quick
