Is Sam Heughan Gay?
I started to note this post a while ago in response to an anon but over time other posts took precedence and this one went by the wayside. However I received this anon recently:
Given that anon, I thought I’d finalize this essay. The original anon that I had started the essay for was a bit more thoughtful, so I am posting that anon below and it is to that anon that I will be addressing most of my response.
Well, anons, this scrutinize keeps coming up with Sam. First, I need to state that the college students I currently work with are starting to move away from binary constructs concerning sexual orientation and gender identity. Hence, they will often identify themselves with such terms as “pansexual” and “genderqueer.” The more I work with these kids the more my own ideas about these things are becoming more fluid.
So, anons, perform I think Sam is gay? Well, I can reveal you what I think but please remember it is pure speculation. since I don’t recognize Sam. Given that caveat, no, I don’t think Sam is gay. I think his principal sexual attraction is towards women (I’ll explain why in a minute). Do I think he could be pansexual, or heteroflexible or bi-curious
Sam Heughan Is Not Gay; He Really Has Had Sentimental Relationships With Women
Preface
This post was originally written on 12.02.15 but the send was taken down in January 2017. I have since decided to repost it with some additions, since there is new facts about this topic.
On 07.24.18 Sam Heughan told Chris Azzopardi in a Logo article at newnownext.com that he is not queer
I believe that like most actors, Sam is sensitive to the LGBTQIA community’s issues. If he were homosexual IMHO he would have never told Logo he wasn’t gay. Instead, he would have said something vague and skirted the issue because he would know that directly lying about his sexuality in a Logo interview would be an insult to the LGBTQ people. So Sam’s interview with Logo to me sealed the deal in terms of his sexual orientation. I execute not believe that Sam is gay.
I also think that Sam could protect less about what people think about his sexuality. He wouldn’t have given a Logo interview at all if he did. But he says he isn’t gay and his should be the closing word about this. In my opinion, it isn’t any fan’s place to second guess him.
In the past I hold addressed this qu
Closeted Outlander Actor Sam Heughan.- Part 21
Time to actor a new thread about this closeted Actor/ Modern TikToker/ "Writer"/ Whiskey and Tequila Seller/cult leader called Sam Heughan.
Let's hope that it's not been deleted like it has happened with dozens of the previous DL threads that were scrubbed.
Just like his gay bios before Outlander were also scrubbed, his name from the list of openly gay actors, the gay comments from Sam's personal FB....etc...etc...etc
A unbent actor wouldn't need all this scrubbing, policing, PR stunts, innuendo fake 'girlfriends' and trolling,

I'm prepared to grab one for the team and bum Sam. I'll come back and endorse if he liked it or not.

No stranger to controversy, Heughan doubles down with his seemingly pro-DUI message...
Anything But Gay! An egregious, being threatening message is enhanced than no buzz at all or God prohibit, GAY buzz, in the run up to his latest movie premiere where he plays a vertical romantic lead.

Sam Heughan is not my fave. But I realize he has a fanbase, so here you go. I tend to ponder he looks like a adorable version of Frankenstein’s Monster… with a bangin’ body. I also tend to think that his employers and his publicist desire him to stay very, very deep in the closet. But in this day and age, we can and should seize his word for it that he’s straight. Which brings me to this interview he did with a LGBTQ+ blog, all to promote his role in The Spy Who Dumped Me (he plays “the gay friend” I think?). Some highlights:
Whether he’s aware of his gay fanbase: “I’m not aware! But I hope there is one. And if there isn’t, then we need to make one.
Why he’s played so many gay roles throughout his career: “Those parts are really interesting because there’s this grey area. These characters are not always fully alert of their situation or in control of their situation, and they have very strong feelings and very strong emotions and tend to be really curious parts.
On people calling him queer , and whether he takes it as a compliment: “Yeah, I guess. I played a limited gay parts and maybe people might make assumptions about me. I mean, it’s not real, but I don’t r
