Belinda gay

Belinda made sure her performance at Madrid Pride yesterday (July 6) was extra gay. Towards the end of her set, the Spanish pop star distributed a kiss with RuPaul’s Drag Race star Valentina and actress Lola Rodríguez.

Belinda was one of the performers at Mado Madrid Orgullo. During her production, she wore a black bodysuit with multi-colored hair that gave off rainbow vibes. One fan wrote that Belinda’s hair reminded them of her nature Silvana from the early aughts telenovela, Cómplices Al Rescate.

To close out her set, Belinda performed her EDM banger “Las 12” sans featured artist Ana Mena. In Mena’s place, Belinda brought out Mexican-American flamboyant queen Valentina and Rodríguez, her co-star on Netflix’s Bienvenidos a Edén. In a surprise moment, Belinda shared a kiss with Valentina and immediately after kissed Rodríguez as well. They spread the love around when Valentina and Rodríguez also kissed onstage. The crowd in Madrid went wild for the moment.

The reactions from the fans about the kiss were pretty fun and hilarious. One fan compared Belinda’s onstage kisses to the same-sex kiss from Disney’s Lightyear production that som

Pop legend and member of the trailblazing music group The Go-Go’s, Belinda Carlisle has maintained her star status but now, she is coming to the music with a new five-track EP titled Kismetwhich includes the single “Big, Big Love”.

Not only does this mark Carlisle’s return to the recording studio since 1997, but it also marks a reunion with Diane Warren, who wrote “Big, Big Love” as good as Carlisle’s 1987 single “I Get Weak”.

The EP also includes “Deeper Into You,” “I Couldn’t Do That To Me,” and “Sanity” as well as “If U Go”, which was also written by Warren.

Carlisle has not only been a cultural icon but also a queer icon and ally from the very starting. “Even [my friends] in tall school – 90% of them were gay or lesbian even though they weren’t out…. that’s just the way it’s always been,” Carlisle tells GLAAD’s Anthony Allen Ramos. ”I remember in the punk days in L.A. it was so inclusive and so welcoming…. we had a huge gay following. It was just very diverse and I didn’t even think about sexuality. There was no reason to think about it.”

She recollects, “I remember when the first AIDS case in West Hollywood. It was a guy that

There are many (living and dead) people out there who are considered lgbtq+ icons.  They don't have to be gay or name as LGBT in request to have this honor bestowed on them.  Simply place, they are lgbtq+ icons because they have done something that has helped us progressed over the years in terms of acceptance, visibility and more.

Belinda Carlisle is one of those people.  The legendary singer has been making us bop our heads with her infectious hits, both solo and with The Go-Go's, for nearly forty years now, and has been a major supporter of the LGBTQ community in the process.

She is the first famous person we are featuring in our Homosexual Icon series, and Belinda was friendly enough to position down with me over the cell (she currently resides in Thailand) to discuss what the community has meant to her, when she and The Go-Go's discovered their major fan anchor, and her touching story about her son James' coming out process.  Seize a look.

You’ve been in the harmony industry for forty years now, starting around a period where the LGBT community was starting to have a larger presence in the world.  At what point did you, or fe
