Many people also wonder how much tip should be given for Taipei gay massages or spa. In Taiwan, there are no industry regulations requiring tipping unless the masseur provides you with additional special services, which they would clarify the charges for in advance. If they did not mention anything beforehand, then there is no need to give a tip

Looking for a mens spa in Taipei. Know of a great one?

    Alleycat2

    Yes:

Try the one on the 15th Floor of the building that houses FNAC on the Corner of Najing and Dunhua. 400 for all day. Massage at 800. A lady will come around and ask you if you want the unique, but it’s not overt nor seedy. Quite fun to consume the day hanging out there. One can sleep too; they have comfy beds etc. Sustenance is okayish…

    Not a bad deal really.

The one Alleycat is talking about is actually good.
They do have “extra” service but it is very discret.
The spa in itself is pretty big, large jacuzzy, dry and wet sauna, enormous rest room, the coffee is horrible though. very good massage and again "extra’ massage.
You want to relax for a few hours or the whole day, it’s a good treat.

Obviously I can’t say if it’s any good, but there’s a very nice looking one just outside SYS MRT station, in the same building as Capone’s. They have glossy pamphlets outside with photos of a very nice looking gym, spa, relaxation room etc. which you can look at first.

    Massage in Taiwan

I love massage and include gone to many, many places with varying degrees of satisfaction. Some of the masseusse and masseurs understand that westerner massage techniques are different from CHinese. Those who don’t know this handle you like a local, with no mercy!

I have had a few (male and female) that would not listen to my cries for them to end or to at least lighten up their pressure. Even pulling away my leg was not an easy thing to carry out because of their hard grasp. Needless to speak I never went help to that one for more. Then I own found others that first gently apply pressure and then increase it according to how much can be endured resulting in a satisfied, long-term customer.

L-A mentioned scraping (gua sha). This is quite prevalent . It is most commonly done with a even comb-like thing made from antler of water buffalo. Spoons or stones are also used. I contain had it done a few times but simply cannot tolerate the highest discomfort as they scrape my lower back. Shoulders and midback are just barely tolerable.

Cupping (which was also mentioned) has the same effect as gua sha but with less pain. The suction cups are placed on the
